BlazingAmerica.com has left 3 video contest spots open for the 10 rapper competition line-up at The Blazing Tulsa Mini Fest on November 20th at Sativa Savvy. This is a non-paid exposure gig for artists who are looking to get their talent in front of both the cannabis industry and the Tulsa music scene.
105.3’s DJ Aubrey Shine and cannabis/music event host Ashton Cole will be co-hosting this event, with the crowd deciding the winner. We will use a bracket system with single elimination head to head competition format. Rappers need to be prepared to have 3 or 4 songs ready, depending on what starting bracket they are placed.
YOUTUBE VIDEO SUBMISSION
25 videos will be accepted until Nov. 17th at noon. BlazingAmerica.com will have a selection process to choose the three video spot winners. We will release our judging system early next week before we end the video submission period. A reserve list will also be created and those artist can attend the event and be placed in the competition if one of the 10 rappers in the event does not show up.
YouTube videos must have movement and effort put into the production, no still album covers.
Artist need to submit videos links directly on the Blazing Oklahoma Music Facebook Group. No manager or fan submissions. Please do not submit if you are not free to perform on November 20th.
BlazingAmerica does not have the capability to screen Spotify or other streaming services at this time. We do not put artists on the stage without viewing live or without a Youtube video to evaluate talent at this time.
PRIZES
1st place will receive a paid headline show promoted by BlazingAmerica.com in Tulsa in December or early 2022. The venue and theme will be determined later. The show will pay $250 with a 50% deposit of $125 being paid to the artist the night of show.
